Our story
In 2004 I founded Mazeras, but before then I worked and lived in Kenya for three years. During that time, I did not only fall in love with Kenya in general, but with its beautiful sandstones in particular.
It was in fact the architect of my own house, who suggested that I should send him a sample, and later on, it was his suggestion that I started import. I liked the idea, and with a lifelong fascination of natural stones, it became only natural for me to bring to Denmark 27 tons of sandstone-tiles as souvenir; as much as could be fitted into one container. Most were fitted in my own house, but I soon realised a demand for a product like this.
Today it is my daily plesure to wake up in Denmark, and put my feet on Kenyan ground, and to satisfy other building owners' need for unique materials and designs.
